SERIOUSLY ??

I came across this article "Does Sony Pictures Own Your Art Portfolio?"
I have never heard anything of this kind, may be i am too new to this field. But the question is if it's true will it affect the artists or/and has affected the artists.

Here the content from Drawn Blog:

Sony Pictures (“SPE”) have posted jobs on their site for storyboard artists and visual development artists, but you might want to read the terms closely before you apply.  Mark Mayerson did, and his analysis suggests you may want to look elsewhere for work:

[…] Sony takes ownership of your portfolio material when you apply for the job. If you are submitting samples of work you have done for other companies, Sony wants you to assign the rights to them. You clearly don’t have the authority to do that for work you don’t own, so that means that you are not legally allowed to show Sony work you’ve done for other companies. Sort of defeats the purpose of a submission portfolio, doesn’t it? What’s clearly disturbing though, is that any original work in your portfolio becomes their property. This does not depend on whether they hire you or not, they get ownership because you applied.

Is Mark overreacting? Well, it’s hard to take that view when SPE’s own agreement says cringeworthy things like:

…any intellectual property or materials […] shall become the sole property of SPE to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and will be considered “works made for hire” or “commissioned works” owned by SPE.

Or this little gem:

SPE […] shall be entitled to the unrestricted use of Submissions for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, without acknowledgment or additional compensation to you.

TechCular Review

It's an Indian blog cum website which focuses on everything related to technology & gadgets. When i frequently visited it i couldn't believe the wide areas it covers. Whether the news is related to mobile hardware, computer components, electronic gadgets, softwares, coding, rooting, jail-braking, tips and techniques for using any gadget or its settings. I am not talking about only big players like Apple, Microsoft, Android, HTC, Nokia, iOS but news related to mobile manufactures like Spice, Micromax which we don't come across so easily. They also regularly update you with mobile and land-line tariff plans and packs. With huge demand and availability of mobile application irrespective of OS, TechCular will update you with latest applications and it's review.

ABOUT
This blog was started in the year 2008 in the name of SolidBlogger but later to TechCular. With more than 52K subscribers and huge number of visitors.

The chief editor of this blog is Soumya Pratihari, who is an IT Engineer, a professional blogger, TV Host, owner of C&F firm, Founder & CEO at iDev and official Samsung Mobiler. You can find him on Facebook.

You can find TechCular on these places.

PS: If you are still not so fascinated by this blog, let me tell you they have an interesting habit of giving prizes which they call "Giveaway". Earlier they gave Amazon Kindle Fire and now they are giving Samsung Galaxy Note. Fascinated !! :)

Edit: They have information more than i excepted and experienced. But the problem is you can very easily skip those information because in home page around 11 articles can be seen. Although at the bottom of the page you have small list of Recent Articles and Popular News but WHAT YOU WILL NOT SEE IS CATEGORIES. They have various categories like Gaming, Android, Telecom, Technology, Gadgets and may more. MUST IMPROVEMENT is adding a category section on their website.

UPDATE: They have added the Categories on the top menu bar :)

FRENCH CHEESE SANDWICH

INGREDIENTS
Brown or White Bread Slices
Cheese Slices or Grated Cheese
Tomato Ketchup
Chilly Sauce
Mustard Sauce
Mayonnaise
Eggs or All Purpose Flour (Maida)
1 Bunch of Spring Onion
Small Bunch of Coriander (Dhaniya)
Basil (Tulsi Leaves)
Chives (Garlic Leaves)
Edible Oil/Butter/Olive Oil to Shallow Fry
Black Pepper
Salt

PROCEDURE

Spread & Cheese
For making the spread which will be applied  on bread slices; Mix Tomato Ketchup, Chilly Sauce, Little amount of Mustard Sauce & Mayonnaise. Doesn't it looks like McDonald kind of sauce? ...well it taste exactly the same).
If you have cheese slices then its good but if not (in my case) you can grate cheese. Finely grated cheese is good.

Sandwich Preparation
Now you are done with the spread, lets start with the sandwich preparation. For this, take 3 slices of bread (for 1 person):
*On 1st slice apply the spread and the grated cheese/ 2 cheese slice.
*On the 2nd slice of bread apply thin layer of spread on the both side and of course on top of the 2nd slice put grated cheese/ 2 cheese slice.
*And on the 3rd slice put the spread.

Dipping Into
Beat 3-4 eggs put salt and black pepper. For me i took 6 eggs because i was making with 15 bread slices (3 slices x 5 people).
If you don't like eggs then you can even use thin batter of all purpose flour (maida).

Smooth Purée
All you need for blending.

You can't see Chives (garlic leaves) here because i don't have it. But it looks like this

Blend the herbs (coriander, basil, garlic leaves) spring onion & chilies if you like. After blending they will look like this. (do not add water while blending). You can add mint also, like i did.

Now put all the purée into the previously made egg dipping/ all purpose flour dipping, which will look like this.

Final Part
Make a pan ready with 1-2 tbsp of edible oil/butter/olive oil. Quickly dip and remove 3 sliced sandwich into this batter and shallow fry on ALL SIDES. ALL SIDES!

Cut into any shape you want, serve and eat ! OR just EAT :)

I will FIND U ...haha ;->

There are many applications for finding your missing mobile; few are free and others are paid.

But what about your Laptops & Netbooks ....yes! you are thinking right !. There are many of them like:

AbsoluteSoftware: PAID approx $50 annually.
Prey Project : FREE
LocateMyLaptop : FREE

They all provide 'Location Tracking' feature which helps you to track your lost Laptop in Google Map.

Are we done here? ....NO! There is something more which i want to share with you.

I came across a site which not only provides Location Tracking feature but many more which are very interesting and useful. Let me explain....

Screen Capturing : LockItTight software installed in your laptop will log all the activities of Mr. Thief and upload it to its server from where you can trace it . Activities includes what website he is browsing, email content (whether reading or writing), the name, home address and other important information from screen captures.

Webcam Capturing : I love this one. If you have a camera in your laptop (usually now-a-days every one comes with that), the LockItTight software will take pictures at a specified interval and send it to its server and you can have nice look.

Auto Updater : You don't need to update the LockItTight software again and again, it will update its self automatically.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE TO DO??
1. Register
2. Download the software and ofcouse install it too.
3. Please don't forget to Test it first.
4. If you have any kind of issues do visit their FORUMS.

P.S : Sorry i was so excited about this i forgot to mention; all these features are completely FREE!!

Happy Lappy !!
